Three

three is a whimsical acrylic painting in the Binary Birds series by Jake Beckman. It is 6 x 8 inches on archival canvas board. three by Jake Beckman, shows three yellow canaries taking flight near the number 3. The background is a representation of music featuring dark green overlaid with bright green and light green waves and lines. The 3 is embellished with green interference paint which changes color depending on the angle of the light. The work is a separable piece of the larger whole which will represent a cell phone keypad. In keeping with the Binary Birds social media theme the painting features ASCII Binary which represents "three" and "3".
