This is an original oil on a gessoed panel that sits in a wooden wrap. The edges are painted dark brown.
This was painted in memory of my father and grandfather. They were superb gardeners and taught me my love of flowers, the outdoors and gardening. Our gardens were family events where everyone participated in weeding, hoeing and harvesting. The wonderful dinners that were prepared using all our produce were memorable. I picked cherries, apricots, peaches and pears endlessly to earn money as a child. I don't regret one moment of those hard labors. Thank you dad and grandpa. Those days are full of love.
