Well, the heat is on in Phoenix, so I painted a scene from the Willamette Valley in Oregon, hoping that looking at this will cool me down.
The Willamette Valley is rich with farmland interspersed with plots of confers. This is a scene near the old Buena Vista Ferry which still crosses the Willamette River. This ferry goes back to early pioneer days. Loving the gray sky!
