"Travel Journal - St. Fabiola"
This is from my "Travel Journal" series of paintings. It is a mixed media collage that is painted on gallery wrapped canvas. It has pieces of old maps, script, gold leaf, little treasures from different parts of the world. Each one always includes a beautiful old "postage stamp". Many of the stamps I often use come from an old collection that was my grandfather's. Clients often mail me beautiful old stamps to use in my paintings and I enjoy creating memories that will last forever with them.
