Mother Night's Embrace by Jake Beckman

Mother Night's Embrace
Mother Night's Embrace is a whimsical 24 x 24 x 3/4 inch acrylic painting in the Abstract Concepts series by Jake Beckman. In Mother Night's Embrace an abstract dragon takes flight in the evening sky unfurling her wings to reveal a cape of stars. The serpent's wings seemingly embrace the moon. As you look at the negative space formed by the sky and the moon the watchful eye of Mother Night emerges.

The Abstract Concepts series encompasses Jake's free form exploration and expression of color, emotion, ideas, textures and structured formlessness, in search of the intrinsic quality of things rather than absolute concrete representation. "I just decided to revisit this particular concept again. I may do so a couple of more times...- Jake"

"Currently I create acrylic paintings in various sizes based of Birds and ASCII Binary based on lighthearted observations of Social Media and Pop Culture. Come Experience the Art!"
