the web, by Jake Beckman

the web
the web is a whimsical 14 x 11 x 3/4 inch acrylic painting in the Binary Birds series by Jake Beckman. In the web a yellow canary sings in the trees. The branches of the trees and leaves are interconnected by the branches themselves and also by a gossamer nimbus that flows from the ends of the leaves reaching out to adjacent twigs. The tree is representative of the organic nature of the world wide web. Predominant colors are shades of blue, white, dark brown, yellow and touches of orange. In keeping with the Binary Birds social media theme the largest branch is overlaid with ASCII Binary reading "www the web ".
