"Sedona Storm", 4x6 watercolor by Stevie Denny

Last October I took a trip to Sedona, and there was a storm that day. It created beautiful light and shadows on the red rocks, and there was even a double rainbow over the mountains that day! This is a small practice piece I've done in preparation to do a larger one. I'd really like to paint the double rainbow that's in my photo, but I didn't have the nerve to do it here. The rocks gave me enough trouble.  Maybe next time.

So glad to see one of your paintings again. I like the ruggedness of hte mountains mixed with the softness of your style. I think the color combination is great!

I like this one. The texture is really evident. Great job!
