From a recent painting trip to Colorado. I came across an old cemetery in Idaho Springs, CO. and wandered around, the day was chilly, as Fall days can be with bright sunshine. The grave markers in this part of the cemetery are from the late 1880's.
It was the shapes and colors that I so enjoyed seeing and thinking about ancestors, pioneers and families and those thoughts were turned into a painting.
