Recently I attended a plein air painting event at The Farm in Phoenix. This is a working farm, and they also have a few restaurants on site. It's a nice place to bring visitors, or have a weekend outdoor breakfast or lunch on a nice day. I had scoped out a painting location early in the day, where I would be in the shade -- it was really hot. There was a cute grape arbor with a broken-down fence near me, which framed the path to their garden. Before I left that day, I did a quick watercolor sketch of that scene. I worked on it a little more today, and now I'll call it finished.

I like the color and the perspective of this painting.
