Acrylic with Foil
NFS
The name of this painting is what the Hebrew letters
stand for on the dreidel. It is a game played during
Chanukah by children. The dreidel is a top that spins.
I made this for my grandchildren. Each year I do a
painting to be drawn by 1 of them. The canvas was
first foiled with many different kinds of metal foil,
then it was painted with foil again applied to the
letters. It give it a luminous, textured quality that
I really like. I plan to do this again on future
paintings. The Entity is there, but the green
orange interference paint makes it barely visible
to the camera. For more information, call Pat
