Zion National Park is one of those places that you never forget. The Virgin river has, over time, carved this amazing valley.
I wanted to create a painting that gives one the feeling of standing in the valley, watching the river, experiencing the height of the sandstone cliffs, and the sheer volume of the canyon. To paint this scene I got up very early, before the sunrise.
