After a bit of a hiatus from painting, I am back!
Life has been busy, overwhelming, wonderful.
But this contemporary still life with oranges,
poppies, and a turquoise jar, was simply a joy to paint today.

The 1.5" sides are painted in the same color as the background,
so it is ready to hang - no frame needed.
