"Homeward Bound" is an original oil on canvas that measures 16 x 20 unframed. The scene depicts a Native American family on horseback making their way slowly over the rugged rocks/desert to return home before the fall weather approaches. The mother is carrying her baby on her back while her husband leads the horse along as not to falter and hurt the mother and child.
