I was lucky enough to do an Artist in Residence at Zion National Park several years ago. During that time I saw not only the beauty of our National Parks but the resurgence of so many species of wildlife due to good conservation efforts. These animals intrigue me because of their curiosity and clan mentality. I like to paint them en plein air to try and capture their movements and character.
