New Watercolor series - "Mood Swings" ny Arizona Artist, Sharon Sieben
Paintings are on 10 x 14 inch Arches Watercolor paper. I'm planning to mount them on Wood Cradles with the sides painted black, so they can be displayed without frames.
I'm still working on this series. If anybody has a suggestion for an expression, I would be happy include it in this group of moody faces.

"Maybe", Watercolor Portrait Painting by Arizona Artist, Sharon Sieben
I'm always challenged by watercolors. When I first started painting, it was in oil, then later Acrylics. Getting my head (and paint bushes) around controlling color and values is so different from working with opaque paints. But here goes. This portrait is on 140# paper and I plan to seal the painting and coat with UV protective varnish so that it can be affixed to a wood paned with no framing required.
