two
two is a whimsical acrylic painting in the Binary Birds series by Jake Beckman. It is 6 x 8 inches on loose canvas. two by Jake Beckman, shows two bright yellow canaries perched in front of the number 2, one facing the viewer the other facing away but appearing to peer at its neighbor. The background is a swirl of black, lavender and blue with touches of red. The 2 is embellished with purple interference paint which changes color depending on the angle of the light. The work is a separable piece of the larger whole which will represent a cell phone keypad. In keeping with the Binary Birds social media theme the painting features ASCII Binary which represents "two" and "2".
