"Dawn on the Saguaro"

Last week I got up at 4am and journeyed out to the desert. There is something special about being outside when the sun comes up and watching the colors change. There is a short moment when the desert floor is still in night and the Saguaro have greeted the dawn. That was my goal with this painting.
