Big Bang Theory
Big Bang Theory is an original acrylic
painting on watercolor paper. The paper has been coated on both sides with gesso
before the acrylic paint is applied. The work is 11 x 14 inches. The work
is matted with a off-white mat to 16x20 inches
and framed in a narrow black corporate frame. Big
Bang Theory is by AZ abstract artist Jake Beckman. The predominant colors
are shades of gold, green and dark brown punctuated by red. The work is consisted
of a green gold spiral overlaid with thick ropes of dark brown paint.
The eye is drawn to a glittering red beaded spot in the middle of the
work.
The Abstract Concepts
series encompasses Jake's free form exploration and expression of
color, emotion, ideas, textures and structured formlessness, in search
of the intrinsic quality of things rather than absolute concrete
representation.
