So even though the air conditioning is chugging away,
and the temperatures still flirt around 100,
I'm getting in the mood for fall and trust its imminent arrival.

Last Saturday I attended a class with watercolor artist John Erwin, who uses India Ink in his watercolor paintings. The workshop was lots of fun, and I really like his technique. Since my painting time was very limited today, I worked on a small tree study.
