Abstract Floral, "Fantasy Garden," by Amy Whitehouse

Oil, 24" x 30" x 1.5" $700

The meditative process that takes place
while creating these abstract pieces
is calming and exciting at the same time.
My third grade teacher, Miss Fountain,
instructed us to make up flowers on art paper.
I'm still doing it!

Birth, Contemporary Abstract Monoprints by Arizona Artist Amy Whitehouse

6" x 6" Monoprint, $65

During this hectic season of my life,
I have found it more manageable to do small
monoprints
rather than oil paintings.
It's also been a great media in which to
explore abstract artwork.
This contemporary piece
brought to mind the concept of birth
whether of an idea, a being, a plant ~
but something organic.
If you are interested in purchasing
this one-of-a-kind artwork,

Untitled, Contemporary Abstract Monoprints by Arizona Artist Amy Whitehouse

6" x 6" Monoprint, $65

I am leaving this monoprint untitled because it is
abstract and may say completely different things
to different individuals.
It is a one-of-a-kind original piece of art,
made with acrylic paint, with lots of texture,
gold metallic acrylic, and very vibrant color.
If interested in purchasing this monoprint,

Spring Vision, Contemporary Landscape by Arizona Artist Amy Whitehouse

6" x 6" Monoprint, $65

In addition to painting, I have been monoprinting
for several months now,
and just having a blast doing it.
This contemporary landscape was achieved
with multiple "pulls," or layers,
of printing with different acrylic paints.

Fibonacci's Knot - by Jake Beckman

Fibonacci's Knot by Jake Beckman

Fibonacci's Knot

Fibonacci's Knot is an energetic 9-piece acrylic painting in the Abstract Concepts series by Jake Beckman. Each panel is 12 x 16 x 3/4 inch, which makes the overall work 3 x 4 feet. Fibonacci's Knot is a series of interlocking Fibonacci spirals, smaller ones in orange, larger ones in red. The background is in shades of warm brown, with broad fiery swatches of orange, yellow and red echoing the thinner spirals. There is just a touch of viridian and copper to bring the work together with some lovely desert southwest hues. Each panel is signed by the Artist, Jake, in the lower right hand corner.

The Abstract Concepts series encompasses Jake's free form exploration and expression of color, emotion, ideas, textures and structured formlessness, in search of the intrinsic quality of things rather than absolute concrete representation. "I just decided to revisit this particular concept again. I may do so a couple of more times...- Jake"

If you would like to see more detail about the art or perhaps buy it, Please see it's page on Jake's website.

"Currently I create acrylic paintings in various sizes based of Birds and ASCII Binary based on lighthearted observations of Social Media and Pop Culture. Come Experience the Art!"-Jake Beckman
