Fibonacci's Knot - by Jake Beckman

Fibonacci's Knot by Jake Beckman

Fibonacci's Knot

Fibonacci's Knot is an energetic 9-piece acrylic painting in the Abstract Concepts series by Jake Beckman. Each panel is 12 x 16 x 3/4 inch, which makes the overall work 3 x 4 feet. Fibonacci's Knot is a series of interlocking Fibonacci spirals, smaller ones in orange, larger ones in red. The background is in shades of warm brown, with broad fiery swatches of orange, yellow and red echoing the thinner spirals. There is just a touch of viridian and copper to bring the work together with some lovely desert southwest hues. Each panel is signed by the Artist, Jake, in the lower right hand corner.

The Abstract Concepts series encompasses Jake's free form exploration and expression of color, emotion, ideas, textures and structured formlessness, in search of the intrinsic quality of things rather than absolute concrete representation. "I just decided to revisit this particular concept again. I may do so a couple of more times...- Jake"

If you would like to see more detail about the art or perhaps buy it, Please see it's page on Jake's website.

"Currently I create acrylic paintings in various sizes based of Birds and ASCII Binary based on lighthearted observations of Social Media and Pop Culture. Come Experience the Art!"-Jake Beckman

GEORGIA'S FLOWERS

GEORGIA'S FLOWERS

By Scottsdale Artist

PAT STACY

GEORGIA'S FLOWERS

5" x 7" canvas panel acrylic

This painting was done for a friend of mine who

had an injury on her foot that kept her in a nursing

home while she received therapy---and recover she

did!! It was such fun to do something that would make

my friend smile. The flowers are imbedded in heavy

clear gel that give it the beautiful transparency and

depth. Not for sale, of course, but thought I would

share anyway. Pat Stacy pastacy@cox.net

CHANT
By Scottsdale Artist
PAT STACY
"CHANT"
30" X 60" X 1.5"
Gallery wrap, black sides

This painting is 3rd in the Metamorphosis series. The series
is characterized by warm, golden tones paired with red orange.
The accents are green with metallic copper, and they are often
stamped with my handmade stamps. As with the others in the
series, this painting is many layers of acrylic over heavy texture.
The painting reminds me of a comfortable refrain sung softly
over and over, hence the name "Chant". For more information
or to purchase, please contact Pat Stacy at pastacy@cox.net or

EVENING FLYERS by Denise Landis

EVENING FLYERS
48H x 36W x 1.5"D
Acrylic Painting on Canvas
$2575.00

The blackbirds fill the skies of northern Arizona in the summertime. At dusk, the birds take flight to return to their nests for the cool nights. This image is of such birds on their way home. The sky is ominous with luxurious colors reflected from the setting sun. The modified pointillism is painted with large rectangular dabs pf paint. This painting would be at home in a modern bedroom where preparing for night's rest is a concurrent theme. The painting, various-sized giclee' prints, and packs of greeting cards are available through http://www.denise-landis.fineartamerica.com
